    Jamie Oliver's Doghouse

    Jamie Oliver is at it again and he’s opened up his latest concept “Jamie Oliver’s Doghouse” at the bottom of Shaftesbury Avenue by Piccadilly Circus. The Doghouse which opened a couple of days ago is part of the larger Diner that Oliver has opened on the same site with Arthur Potts Dawson. It’s apparently going to take a very sustainable approach to the entire restaurant with no left over food being wasted and thrown away, and plenty of locally sourced ingredients. Technically the place is being described as a pop-up, but given the three years its expected to last I think that might be stretching the definition a little bit. (more…)

    Homeslice moves indoors

    Homeslice London

    Homeslice has joined the ever growing list of street food traders who have made the move to a bricks and mortar restaurant. They’ve moved inside and opened up their very own pizza joint in Neals Yard, just off Monmouth Street. They were the first people in London to make a wood fired pizza oven mobile and they were a great addition to London’s street food scene, so it’s good to see while they’re no longer to be found serving up slices in London’s markets you can still get their delicious pizza just a stones throw from Covent Garden.     Sundance London

    Last weekend the famous Sundance film festival came to London for four days of independent film with more than 30 films and documentaries being showcased. As well as the films and some music events, this year Sundance also partnered with Kerb to host a street food market in the heart of the O2 where the festival was happening. (more…)
