Last Sunday the sun finally came out and gave us the first properly hot day of the year, which of course meant two things – one, I got sunburnt and two, there was no excuse not to head down to Harringay Market for their first birthday bash. Harringay is one of my favourite markets (even if I don’t get there often enough) and is definitely one of the best options in North London.
This weekend Kerb launched their summer series of Saturday markets at Kings Cross, just like their weekday markets, but supersized. So instead of 4-5 traders there were nearly 15 to choose from ranging from BBQ to Gyoza to Cupcakes, not to mention plenty of ice cream for the perfect summer lunch. They even had the big screen so you could watch Wimbledon, the only thing missing was some strawberries and cream.
