    Homeslice London

Homeslice has joined the ever growing list of street food traders who have made the move to a bricks and mortar restaurant. They’ve moved inside and opened up their very own pizza joint in Neals Yard, just off Monmouth Street. They were the first people in London to make a wood fired pizza oven mobile and they were a great addition to London’s street food scene, so it’s good to see while they’re no longer to be found serving up slices in London’s markets you can still get their delicious pizza just a stones throw from Covent Garden. Bonjour! So earlier this month as part of my 2013 goal to travel more I headed to France for my first ever visit to Paris. Taking advantage of a Eurostar sale and a cheap Airbnb apartment I packed a bag and headed over for a weekend of sight seeing and over indulgence. Taking place at the same time as the Ginstock and Rumstock events the place was packed and it was great to see so many people turn out to check out the competition and try the wonderful food on offer.

Love it or hate it, London will be full of tourists, athletes and who knows else for the next two weeks. While there might be plenty of negatives, one of the big positives is that street food is going to be everywhere!
